The New Mexican School is oriented towards the formation of women and men as integral citizens from the National Education System, with the ability to learn to learn throughout their lives, to be a contribution to the development of society, with skills to adapt to the different contexts and challenges that the XXI century will impose.
In this sense, the teacher recognizes the context, conditions and characteristics of the student and directs their learning not only towards the disciplinary but also in the ethical, cultural and civic in order to form citizens with a sense of historical and social belonging.
Likewise, in the New Mexican School the Director is the academic figure who will be in charge of guaranteeing the necessary conditions to achieve the integral formation of the student, will manage and obtain resources in a transparent way, will assure the adequate infrastructure for the achievement of learning and will coordinate the academic work.
In the system, registrations will be available as of May 6 and will be subject to the availability of vacancies and the requirements established by the training agencies. Therefore, it is suggested to establish the necessary dissemination, communication and follow-up mechanisms so that all teachers complete their registration before May 31 and join the training processes as a relevant element in their teaching practice and as part of a comprehensive process that will advance to levels of specialization.

More than 13,500 school principals and academy leaders from the federal states participated in 40 face-to-face workshops on the Educational Model for Compulsory Education and, in particular, the implementation of the curriculum for Higher Secondary Education (EMS); close to five thousand schools have replicated this workshop in their educational communities.
The SEMS has developed actions derived from the implementation of the Educational Model for Compulsory Education and, in particular, the implementation of the EMS curriculum, although these actions are crystallized in each of the schools, behind them there is a work hand in hand with the main actors: the directors.
Training for teachers who have been promoted to management positions is, in turn, key to strengthening their leadership and management skills. The course for the development of management competencies covers the fundamental topics for the consolidation of collegial work, learning communities and appropriate environments in upper secondary education.
